I Lit a Candle for You
Hi <<First Name>>,
Does your gloom seem thick and make you feel forlorn?
Do showers of dreariness and dread greet you each morning?
If so, I'm here to offer you the gift of rest.
First, I lit a candle for you today.
A light for your darkness. A flicker of hope for your unknown. A lamp for the path you walk which may appear treacherous, steep, and lonely.
Second, I said a prayer for you today.
A prayer for your peace of mind. A word whispered in the quiet for your heart to find stillness. An aroma of gratitude that you're here and we're friends.
Third, I wrote a post about rest. I'm sharing about the burden of loss and the promise of rest from our good, good Father. When grief fills our hearts, it takes over our minds. It leaves us aching and hollow. It stirs our emotions and our heartache.

But God wants the burden of your grief. He wants to trade you for it and give you His rest. He wants to refresh your spirit in the face of tragedy and loss. Will you open yourself to Him? Will you give Him what weighs you down and let Him lift it from you?
That is my prayer for you this day. If I can carry your burden to the arms of Jesus for you, please connect with me by replying.
May you find hope and help as you release your cares to the One who carries you.
