A new post and
Hi <<First Name>>,
How are you? Are you weary, like me, with the daily bombardment of hard news and upheaval?
I confess feeling hopeless and irrelevant during these difficult days our nation has faced.
I've prayed and then sat at the computer for hours in an attempt to string words into sentences and sentences into paragraphs, but the heaviness in my heart prevents me from finding the courage to finish a post.
Until now.
I kept working and finally have a finished product. but I'm not sharing about the pandemic nor the race problems in our country.
Want to discuss those? Call me, text me, or meet me for coffee. I would love some heartfelt discussion on the issues. I would love some wise counsel and direction in those areas, too.
My current post is simply about praying for our children. The things I no longer pray and some suggested scripture to guide our praying. May it bring you hope and peace and hopeful waiting.
Also, I want to share three youtube links that are encouraging me and giving me peace.
Two songs of hope by Ellie Holcomb:

And a beautiful version of "Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus" by Lauren Daigle:

Our only hope is found in turning to Jesus. No matter what the statistics say, no matter what humanity is suffering. No matter how our hearts ache for our children find the Light of Hope. It is in Christ alone where we will find our peace and endurance for waiting.

Thanks for being here with me!
Waiting with you,

"For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light."
